A Night on Angel Island
Friday May 28th, 1999
Join us for a moonlit (the full moon is
actually Saturday) extravaganza on the bay.
Picturesque views from the camp site of the north bay to Treasure Island.
Space is limited. We will sign up the first 24 people who get us the $25 fee which includes:
Transportation to and from the island from Tiburon (the ferry departs next to Guaymas and Sam's)
Campsite and park visitor fees
Sandwiches and snacks for dinner on Friday night
Bagels, juice and coffee for breakfast on Saturday
Beer and Wine Friday night (most of the budget for sure)
A little heads up:
It is about a 2-3 mile hike to the campsite so pack appropriately
The ferry to the Angel Island will have to be chartered - you must be there when it leaves or you will have to swim
You can leave on whatever ferry you choose on Saturday (10:20 AM - 5:20 PM, hourly)
SIGN ME UP, I'M GONNA BE THERE !
For those who are interested, a day of kayaking on Saturday is possible if we act fast and make reservations through
We would have a couple choices (but we need to decide by 5/10):
A tour around the island costs $100 per person and includes lunch and goes from about 10AM to 4PM (6 person minimum)
or
Two hour paddle around the Ayayla Cove area beginning at 10 AM or 11 AM. The cost is $550 and we can have up to 12 people ($46 each)
